The floorboards were filthy, and a pungent odor of stale beer and dirty bathrooms permeated the entire venue . Emitting a scent of a mixture of ammonia , decay and illness . The counter , which should be the primary feature of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and refuse that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . The toilet was in even more deplorable shape — backed up, with a broken handle and walls covered in what I can only assume was feces.
